Thank you to everyone who brought snacks to our Rotary meeting in support of the USD 497 students in September and took part in the snack sorting party on October 2nd.
The Jayhawk and Central Rotary clubs in Lawrence joined in this project by bringing snacks to their meetings. This was a great way for our Lawrence Rotary clubs to work together for the benefit of the local schools.
Our Snack Sorting Party was held on October 2nd at Maceli's, where members from all three clubs gathered to sort and organize the snacks. The school district then delivered the snacks to our local schools. Special thanks to Steve Maceli for his generosity in providing the space, appetizers, and a bartender. This was a memorable and impactful event and a great way to socialize with members of all three clubs.
