October President’s Letter – Create Lasting Impact

Happy October, Rotarians!

We’ve officially wrapped up the first quarter of our Rotary year, and what a great start it has been! 

We’ve welcomed eight new members, with a ninth joining us soon! 

This is something to celebrate, and I want to thank everyone who has helped welcome new faces into our club. Let’s keep up the amazing work!

As we continue to grow, let’s remember that membership is about more than numbers. It’s about building relationships, creating connections, and helping everyone feel like they belong. 

Take a moment to introduce yourself to our newest members, learn a little more about them, and make sure they feel welcome. 

A friendly conversation or an invitation to join you for coffee can go a long way in helping someone feel connected to our Rotary family.

Another great way to get involved and build relationships is through committee service. Have you joined a committee yet? 

Throughout October, I’ll be sharing a list of our club’s committees during our meetings. Take a look, find something that interests you, and reach out to the committee chair to learn more about how you can participate. There are so many ways to contribute, and we want everyone to find a place where they can make a difference.

As we move into the second quarter, let’s keep this momentum going. By welcoming new members, strengthening our connections, and getting involved in our club's work, we can continue to Create Lasting Impact in our community and beyond.
