Amber L. Rowland, Ph.D. is an Associate Research Professor at the University of Kansas's Center for Research on Learning and a leader in educational innovation. Over the course of her career, she has worked with educators, researchers, students, and technology developers to create tools that help people overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Her research explores artificial intelligence, immersive learning technologies, and evidence-based educational practices, with a particular focus on supporting individuals with disabilities. She is the co-founder and Chief Science Officer of VOISS, a simulation platform designed to teach social and communication skills through interactive learning experiences. Dr. Rowland is passionate about using innovation responsibly to improve lives, expand opportunity, and translate research into real-world impact.
